DGAF Annual Meeting - since 2019 as part of VMAC

Since 2019, our annual meeting has been held as part of the Vascular Medicine and Atherosclerosis Congress - VMAC .

The German Society for Lipidology (DGFL) – Lipid-Liga joined the initiative proposed by the presidents of DGAF and the D•A•CH Society for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases. In cooperation with SAW Tagungsmanagement, this led to a joint congress organized by Germany’s three leading societies focusing on atherosclerosis and its associated diseases: DACH, DGAF and DGFF.

The Working Group on Atherosclerosis in Clinical Practice (AG 41) of the DGK also uses VMAC as a platform for a status symposium.
