Awards for young scientists

Gotthard Schettler Prize

The Gotthard Schettler Prize is awarded to a scientist under 35 years of age for the best contribution to the annual meeting. The selection takes place in a special "Young Investigator Award" session during the annual meeting, in which five abstracts chosen by the DGAF board are presented.

Eberhard Betz Prize

The Eberhard Betz Prize is awarded for the best poster presentation at the annual conference. The selection is made by a committee after the posters have been presented.

Hans Kaffarnik Prize

The Hans-Kaffarnik Prize is awarded annually to an outstanding poster presentation at the annual conference. The winner is selected by the poster committee.
