WH Hauss Prize
The German Society for Angiology and Rheumatology (DGAF) awards the WH Hauss Prize annually to young scientists within the society to promote their scientific work in the field of arteriosclerosis research. The prize is endowed with €3,000 and is awarded at the annual conference. This prize money is made possible by the generous donation of Prof. Winfried März, to whom we extend our sincere thanks.
Scientists (under 40 years of age) who are members of the German Society for Arteriosclerosis Research (DGAF) are eligible to apply for the prize. Only one original scientific publication (no reviews or dissertations) may be submitted. The publication may cover any area of arteriosclerosis research and must have been published online or accepted for publication by the application deadline (December 31st). In cases of shared first authorship, the authors must apply jointly and, if selected, will be jointly awarded the prize. The prize money will be divided accordingly and paid separately to the recipients. Works that have already received other awards or have been submitted for other prizes are not eligible.
The work should be submitted along with a brief cover letter and the applicant's academic career (max. 1 page). Please submit your application as a single PDF document to the following address: info@dgaf.de
